About RITA
The International Conference Rabies in the Americas (RITA) is realized annually, since 1990. Its goal is to present and discuss the developments on themes related to rabies. The last years around 300 delegates from many countries from the Americas and from other continents joined the conference.
RITA is organized by the host country jointly with an International Scientific Committee. In 2006 RITA will be held in Brazil, its host will be the Health Ministry and the National Scientific Committee Presidency will be on charge of Secretaria de Vigilância em Saúde from the Health Ministry.
