XXXV Congresso Mundial AIH sobre Águas Subterrâneas e Ecossistemas
Os ecossistemas dependentes da água subterrânea constituem uma parte vital, mas muitas vezes mal compreendida, dos recursos de água doce no planeta. A importância da água subterrânea na extensão e biodiversidade de um dado ecossistema tem sido reconhecida pela comunidade científica mas necessita de mais investigação para definir critérios quantitativos em que se possa basear a gestão e protecção destes ecossistemas prioritários.O XXXV Congresso Mundial da AIH irá promover a divulgação, discussão e o intercâmbio de conhecimentos multidisciplinares sobre o papel e a importância da água subterrânea nos ecossistemas dependentes deste recurso.
