"Nine tourists and their guide, who got lost in a cave in the Altai Territory, managed to find their own way out, a local emergencies ministry spokesman said Friday.
The group entered the Geofizicheskaya cave, which extends 130 meters (430 feet) below ground and contains one of Siberia's largest grottos, on Thursday evening.
"Everybody is alive, there are no casualties," the spokesman said.
He said the tourists got trapped in the cave, which was partially flooded after a change in weather. "
