"The scientific-exploratory expedition organized by La Venta Geographical Association and by Mexican Society Speleoresearch & Film has officially begun after more than 16 months of planning and experimenting.
During the 16 months of preparation the Association has tested a specifically designed cooled suit, which allows the explorer to remain in the cave for almost one hour. Not a very long time span, but it will still allow to carry out many interesting studies.
This web page will cover, with daily updates live from the base camp at the entrance of the cave, what will happen during these two weeks of exploration and study.
