"Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the break-in and vandalism of a cave at a southern Indiana state park.
Sean Allen, 20, and Eric Crum, 19, and Matthew Phillips, 23, are being held on several charges, including felony theft to violating cave protection laws.
According to Indiana conservation officers, the pair allegedly painted on walls and broke rock formations inside Wyandotte Cave. Also, an injured bat was found as well.
The caves, located in O'Bannon Woods State Park near Corydon Ind., are among the few habitats for the rare Indiana bat, which are listed on both the State and Federal Endangered Species List.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing."
